The Seta Semi-Automatic Tag Closed Cup Flash Point Tester consists of a stainless steel case in which is mounted an electrical heater to heat a test cup, liquid bath and the lid and shutter assembly. The lid and shutter assembly has a test flame size bead (4 mm diameter) mounted on it.

A mains gas inlet block is provided at the rear of the upper section of the instrument case. The Tag Flash Point Tester comprises a 10 mm diameter hose nozzle and a pinch valve for gas flow control from a mains supply.

A controller has the facility to allow the user to vary the rise rate of the temperature.

Additional Information

The test flame uses either mains gas or can operate from the optional Portable Gas Tank (13667-0). The case is manufactured from stainless steel, with an integral drip tray and bath overflow.
