Stanhope-Seta Service and SupportAfter care is very important to us at Stanhope-Seta. We pride ourselves on a personal approach to every customer’s query, whether it arises before, during or after the ownership of a Seta instrument.

At your premises

When your instrument requires Service and Calibration or repair, if you are UK based, you may request to have this conducted at your site. In this instance, travel and in some cases accommodation is included in the cost. If you would prefer this option, please specify in your initial enquiry.

Service Categories

  • Warranty Repair
  • Stanhope-Seta warranty covers a period of 18 months from the date the instrument has been dispatched. This category applies to all instruments having hardware, firmware or design defect, when returned to us during the warranty period. To return an instrument, please contact service@stanhope-seta.co.uk

  • No Problem Found
  • This applies to all instruments returned for repair and that our engineers cannot identify as having a problem with either the hardware or software. There is a standard inspection charge for all instruments out of warranty. To avoid unnecessary charge, please contact service@stanhope-seta.co.uk before returning your instrument to allow us to guide you through troubleshooting to determine if the unit does in fact have a problem.

  • Standard Repair
  • These instruments are not under warranty but require hardware or software repair/update. Once evaluated, you will be quoted for replacement parts and labour required/ We will only commence repair once we have your approval.

  • Non Repairable
  • This applies to instruments which have been deemed beyond repair. The reasoning could be the age of the instrument and therefore our inability to service it and acquire spare parts. If the instrument is found un-repairable due to customer’s application, misuse or modification, product training might be advised and the set charge for evaluation applies. We will advise on a replacement instrument.

  • Upgrade
  • Some of our instruments would benefit with firmware or hardware related upgrades. If this is something you are considering, please contact us at service@stanhope-seta.co.uk

  • Quick Turnaround – Rush Repair
  • We offer a quick turnaround repair, providing all the necessary components are available. With this option, we will provide a repair within 5 working days. Repairs are priced individually.

    If outside of the UK, please contact your local Stanhope-Seta representative when experiencing difficulty or if you require Service and Calibration.


    Registering your repair

    For either warranty or non-warranty repair, please contact service@stanhope-seta.co.uk. We will issue you with a unique RMA number to track your instrument throughout the Service process.
