The Seta Reciprocating Stirrer consists of an electric motor, gearbox, crank-arm, mounting block and an on/off switch.
The Stirrer provides a reciprocating motion to a stirring rod at approximately 65 complete (up and down) strokes a minute with a stroke length of approximately 7 cm. The diameter of stirrer that will fit into the coupling is 1.5 mm.

Additional Information
The Stirrer can be mounted on a mast (24500-0) or laboratory scaffold rod of 12 mm (0.5 inch) diameter. It is secured in position with a clamp on the rear of the unit. The unit can be mounted with the on/off switch at the top or bottom, depending upon the clearance available from the glassware being stirred.
