IP PM FA – Determination of the level of dispersed particles in diesel fuel – Generic Automatic Particle Counter Method 
The Energy Institute (EI) has developed a new particle counting method which incorporates existing methods IP 565 and ASTM D7619 for measuring particles in diesel and diesel blends up to 10% FAME.
Both the AvCount2 (SA1000-2) and AvCount Lite (SA1800-2) are compliant.
