Seta R&D Director Appointed to ASTM International Board of Directors
Stanhope-Seta is pleased to announce that Ian Mylrea, Director of Research and Development at Seta, has been appointed to the ASTM International Board of Directors for a three year term.
ASTM International is one of the world’s leading standards development organisations, publishing more than 12,000 standards used globally to enhance product quality, improve safety and facilitate international trade.
Election to the ASTM Board is a significant professional distinction, recognising sustained technical contribution and leadership within the global standards community.

Ian has been an active member of ASTM for many years and plays a leading role within Committee D02 on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants, a committee closely aligned with Stanhope-Seta’s core areas of expertise. He currently serves as First Secretary of Committee D02 and has held a number of leadership positions across its subcommittees. His contributions to standards development have been recognised with multiple ASTM awards.
