Stanhope-Seta Celebrates Innovation with GASP Motor Project

10th June 2025 | Company News

At Stanhope-Seta, we believe in the power of hands-on learning and the importance of inspiring the next generation of engineers. That’s why we were delighted to attend the GASP Motor Project’s 20 year celebration event, recognising the achievements of young people engaged in practical engineering experiences.

As part of the event, Stanhope-Seta had the honour of presenting the award for ‘Most Innovative Team’, which celebrated a group of students who demonstrated exceptional creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with students, mentors, and other supporters who share our passion for skills development and vocational learning.

We are proud to support GASP by welcoming students into our business throughout the year. Six students take part in a four-week placement programme at Stanhope-Seta, where they gain insight into working life in a real-world engineering environment. From observing precision manufacturing to getting involved in practical tasks, students gain first-hand experience that helps build confidence, develop workplace skills, and open up future career opportunities.

The GASP Motor Project does incredible work supporting young people who thrive in a practical learning setting. Their programmes not only teach valuable technical skills but also help to build self-esteem, motivation, and long-term aspirations.

We’d like to extend our congratulations to all of this year’s participants and thank the GASP team for their dedication and continued impact on the lives of young people. We are proud to play a small part in this journey and look forward to continuing our collaboration.
